Days between dates

The date calculator counts the difference between two calendar dates. It can show the result in days, weeks and a calendar-based year, month and day breakdown.

Including the end date

If you include the end date, the final day is counted as part of the interval. This is useful for trips, ranges and practical planning where both the first and last day should be included.

Example

If the start date is Monday and the end date is Friday, excluding the end date counts the days before Friday. Including the end date counts Friday as part of the range.

Calendar and time zone scope

The calculator works with calendar dates entered in the form. It is not a time-zone converter and does not adjust for daylight saving changes beyond normal browser date handling.

Weekdays and limits

The calculator can count weekdays and weekend days based on the calendar. It does not account for national public holidays, local holidays or special business-day rules.
